A core of Shirogami #2 (white 2) being hugged by soft iron. One must therefore expect the entire blade to patina, but has extremely high potential for sharpness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e Something we think is really cool about this knife is that it has a little extra height at the bottom of the heel than you typically see from Konosuke. It gives more 'knuckle clearance' when working with it, and also gives the knife a bit more space to thin out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eWhat really shines through on this knife, besides the fantastic fit\u0026amp;finish, is the immense grind.
